Sharmila suggests removing PM Imran?s mother name from Shaukat Khanum hospital
Pakistan People’s Party has condemned Prime Minister Imran Khan's decision of removing the name of Benazir Bhutto from Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).In this regard, PPP leader Sharmila Faruqi has come forth voicing her thoughts on any change in the name of the program. In a tweet published recently Faraqui said, “How would @ImranKhanPTI feel if the next government removes the name of his mother from Shaukat Khanum Hospital?”Slamming PM Imran Khan’s decision she added, "Morally, ethically and legally you have lost the plot Mr. P.M. #Benazirincomesupportprogram"Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer hospital is Pakistan’s largest cancer hospital. SKMCH is a private hospital, built by PM Imran Khan in 1994.Earlier, the decision to change the name was decided by PM Imran upon the demand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ally and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Makhdoom Mohsin on Sunday, during a meeting in Ghotki.The BISP was launched in 2008 by the former government of PPP. The program name was a tribute to the former PM Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated in 2007. The poverty alleviation program was inaugurated to provide regular stipend to the poor and vulnerable segment of the society.

Delighted Imran congratulates Erdogan on poll victory
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his electoral victory in local polls. PM Imran Khan tweeted: “I am delighted to congratulate friend of Pakistan Recep Tayyip Erdogan on another important victory in the Turkish local elections.”The people of Pakistan wish him many more successes, the PM further added.Earlier, in a victory speech, Erdogan thanked the nation for electing the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party in 15th consecutive elections.Erdogan said 56 percent of municipalities in Turkey will be run by AK Party, in an address to the nation from the balcony of his party headquarters in capital Ankara after Sunday's local election victory."I would like to thank all my citizens, especially our Kurdish brothers, for showing sensitivity toward the issue of survival," he said.Turkey's ruling party is leading the race with 16 metropolitan municipalities and 24 cities claimed by AK Party candidates, according to unofficial results, state-owned Anadolu Agency reported.

CM Buzdar's father passes away after cardiac arrest
Sardar Fateh Muhammad, father of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest on Monday. According to CM Buzdar’s brother, their father was admitted to Tehsil Headquarters hospital after having a heart attack at his residence in Taunsa.He will be buried in the district of Dera Ghazi Khan, Barthi, he further stated.Sardar Fateh Muhammad has been a member of Punjab Assembly thrice. He obtained the degree of MA (Political Science) in 1964 from Karachi University.He was the Chief of Buzdar Tribes. He had also served as Member, Federal Council, Majlis-e-Shoora during 1983-84 and as Member, District Council, D.G. Khan.He remained as Member Punjab Assembly during 1985-88 and 2002-07; and also served as Chairman, Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Auqaf during 2003-07. He returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third term in general elections 2008.
