PM Imran Khan to address the nation in a short while

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will be addressing the nation in a short while in the wake of the present tense border situation between India and Pakistan.The premier will be speaking to the public after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian fighter jets earlier on Wednesday giving rise to the mounting tensions between the two neighboring countries. Earlier, Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor also held a presser where he asserted that the country is advocating for peace adding that: “Pakistan is not pushing for war. We engaged our targets in open air, we deliberately avoided escalation.”
