Indian military officials left red-faced by media questions, fail to give evidence

NEW DELHI: In bid to clear themselves  after Pakistan's suprise, The joint press briefing of the Indian top military officials  on Thursday turned out to be an apology of the highest order as none of them had any answers to the questions raised by the media persons.Air Vice Marshal RGK Kapoor, Major General Surinder Singh Mahal and Rear Admiral Dalbir Singh Gujral remained clueless and confused throughout the press briefing and failed to  provide satisfactory explanation or evidence to back up India’s claims of the number of casualties and the proof of shooting down an F-16.It is pertinent to note that that Pakistan Air Force had shot down Indian fighter aircraft on Wednesday for violating airspace along Line of Control (LoC) and had taken into custody an Indian pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday announced that Pakistan will release captured IAF pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, on Friday as a peace gesture.
